I concede it - I'm so well into this style of dress-up that I do want my dark pierrot self to break free and be independent. Meet Dark Pierrot Vidal - an otherwise nameless and creepy doll with a tendency to skulk and slink around the back of your sofa.

I'm as unsure of her personality as you probably are, but it's her look I'm most attached to - a combination of Minnu Palen (hair), AVZ (strings & headdress), Illusions (mask), Shapes by Zada (eye), Nixie (eye), Shiny Girl (skin), Kyrah Design Concept (catsuit) and Maitreya (shoes). My particular thanks to Siyu Suen of Illusions for making such delightful masks - it's shopping at her place which sparked this deliciously fun change!

Once I'd gotten myself dressed so, I spent a lovely evening with friends and family. These shots are what resulted:
