My first one -- won't be my last. I met someone I'd already "friended" (Lanna); made a new friend during the party (Jezabell); met the only other furry in the crowd (Marx); and saw, but didn't get a chance to talk to, the person I "blame" for setting me on the blogging path (Botgirl).

The conversation was lively -- the snarky responses to the trivia questions being the best of that. The music was pretty darn good, too!

Courtesy of NPIRL -- Another amazing-looking build: Metaverse Island, by Lumiere Noir, architect of (among others) the Ivory Tower of Primitives. That'll be my next stop, after I see if I can get something worthy of entry in the RMB City contest.

And I'm going to be looking farther into the work of M. Noir, as well. Turns out, we're almost neighbors in RL (he lives in a different suburb of Dallas.
