- Second Life has become a fun addiction in my Real Life. Not only is it an escape from reality, but it keeps me in touch with my technology colleagues in RL. I enjoy meeting new people from around the world.
Lunch at Panera 6-24-08
What a fun time my room mates and I had sharing SL with our fellow CRS's and coordinators during lunch at Panera. We almost gave up on being able to venture InWorld, but thanks to Thunder, who gave the Internet connection one more try, we were all finally able to get in. We shared our Beach House on Andromedia and gave a brief tour of ISTE's recreation of the Alamo which will be used at this years NECC conference. Unfortunately, our time ran out and we had to move back into the the real world to complete our training.

After the Party
I had fun on the beach at our party last night. Sicilie was really rocking. There was dancing, limbo, volleyball and a large house boat to have fun on. At one point there were so many guest I couldn't keep track. It was an interesting mix of avatars from newbies to seasoned veterans. Many guest were from places far out of the US.
