I'm Guy aka Bluesmoke Hextall aka Shalom Wingtips, musician, podcaster and digital artist. I live in Israel with my wife and son.
About my podcasts:
I have five active podcasts - The 16th showcases my music. I publish this one monthly and many of the tracks on this podcast is written especially for the podcast.
Night Guy centers around interviews with creative people from fields like music, art and new media and the occasional 100 words stories compilations.
Night Guy Electronica is where I play advanced electronic music and Night Guy Under The Rock is my alternative rock podcast. This podcast also includes the story of The Silent Detective.
I also have a new podcast in Hebrew called Dr. Petza.
About My Music:
I play an impossible blend of Drum'n'Bass, Ambient, Techno and IDM. My interest in writing music lies in breaking time, distorting it and rearranging it. I have a technique I call Voice Deconstruction. Basically, what I do is this - I break the recorded voice into small fragments, then I rearrange it into new patterns, creating a new kind of music using this simple process.
About my art:
I create digital art using various software and digital models. I work in a 3D space creating the virtual worlds of my mind. My environments are created using Bryce while character models are posed and morphed using DAZ|Studio. I generally use models purchased at DAZ3d, but recently I started creating my own models. In my work, I explore the sub-conscience mind, the dark side of the brain, the unknown. My work ranges from the surrealist to the abstract. I am a Juried Member of EBSQ+.
