Time for a new Blogger Meet-Up party :-)

I am offering to host, arrange a DJ and decorate. All I need to know is what would be a good day of the week and time for as many of you as possible. Oh, and some good themes/costumes.

I miss our meet-ups! They are some of the first activities I did when I started Second Life. I think we have a lot of new bloggers who have not had a chance to go to one. It is always wonderful to meet everyone in person.

I'd love to get your thoughts!

Well, (fashion) Blogger Appreciation Week was about a week ago, so I'm a little burnt out, especially with the summer kicking off and having my family about me. I'm also not sure how active this group in particular is; then again, I'm not a member of the in-world group. My suggestion is, if you really want to get people together, try joining and poking the SL Bloggers Network group in world (owned by Voshie Paine). It's not just for fashion bloggers and is fairly active.

I was not envisioning anything happening until late June. And this would be like all of the old Blogger meet up parties that were held quarterly - for anyone who blogs about anything in SL.

I have always been part if the SL Blogger group in-world and although it is not terribly active I think the membership is pretty strong. However - TY for the tip: I will check into the SL Bloggers Network! I had never heard of it before.

I'm new on SL Bloggers Network and this sounds like fun to me. Late June is fine and the only days I'm not available are Tues, Fri, Sat. Times after 4pm SLT work best in my world. If you need a site, my garden might work, but prolly maxes out around 30 peeps. Good luck with the planning.

Hi all!

I just wanted to mention here that Tymmerie Thorne is now officially the Event Director of the SL Bloggers inworld and NING group.

Also, Tymmerie will be taking over Day-to-Day operations of the inWorld SL Bloggers group by September 1st, 2009, as I step back to ramp-up activities in my others inWorld/NING groups.

I'll continue to run the Day-to-Day operations of the SL Bloggers NING group and be available to advise Tymmerie in the inWorld SL Bloggers Group.
